An idea born at Rouen,
for safer nights.
Protect Your Glass was born in Rouen following a personal experience of its founders: a friend of Manon's was drugged without her knowledge at a party. Faced with the risks of spiking in nightlife settings, Manon and Charly, drawing in particular on Charly’s experience in the gendarmerie, wanted to develop a simple, accessible, and practical solution to help everyone better protect their drink.
This initiative gave birth to the anti-spiking scrunchie, a 2-in-1 accessory that incorporates a fabric drink cover. Discreet, washable, and reusable, it unfolds in seconds to form a physical barrier over the drink.
Since then, Protect Your Glass has been developing prevention solutions designed for parties and events. Our mission remains the same: to make prevention simple, accessible, and non-anxiety-inducing, without promising total protection, but offering practical solutions to help limit the risks.

2021
Turning point
A friend of Manon, co-founder of Protect Your Glass, is the victim of an attempted drink spiking on a night out. This turning point triggers several months of research to come up with a simple solution to better protect drinks. At the time, Charly, co-founder, is still a gendarme.
2022
Launch
After several months of testing, Protect Your Glass launches its first product in June: the anti-spiking scrunchie, a reusable, discreet and affordable drink cover. The Protect Your Glass adventure begins.
2023
Recognition
Protect Your Glass gains national visibility: the brand is invited onto La France Bouge on Europe 1 and wins the Trophée de l’Avenir – Listeners’ Favourite. A first media recognition for our prevention approach.
2024
Partnerships
Protect Your Glass develops partnerships with student and prevention organisations, notably the Association Générale des Étudiant·es de Paris (AGEP). Our drink covers are distributed to several thousand students during awareness campaigns and events.
2025
New format
Protect Your Glass expands its range with the keychain drink cover: a reusable fabric cover stored in a compact case, designed to be easily carried, handed out during prevention campaigns and kept after the event.
