Products, care, delivery, professional offers, prevention: find answers here to the questions we're asked most often about our anti-spiking drink covers.
We offer three reusable anti-spiking drink covers: the anti-spiking scrunchie (8,90 €), a 2-in-1 scrunchie that hides a fabric drink cover; the silicone anti-spiking drink cover with a teat (6,90 €); and the keychain anti-spiking drink cover (12,90 €), a fabric cover stored in a compact case. Packs of 100 are also available for professionals.
It all depends on how you go out. The scrunchie is worn on your wrist or in your hair, so your protection is always on you. The silicone cover lets you drink through its teat or with a straw without removing it. The keychain drink cover clips onto your keys or bag so it's always within reach. To compare all three, visit our shop.
The anti-spiking scrunchie and the keychain drink cover are made of fabric composed of 83.4% polyester and 16.6% elastane, which makes them soft and stretchy. The silicone drink cover is made of 100% silicone.
Our covers are made in China. They were designed and tested by our team, based in Rouen, who also handle the shipping of your orders.
Thanks to their stretchy material, our covers fit a wide range of glasses and cups. However, compatibility depends on the diameter and shape of the glass: a very wide or unusually shaped container may not be suitable.
Yes, with the silicone anti-spiking drink cover: you drink directly through its teat or by slipping a straw into the opening, without ever uncovering your glass.
The scrunchie has a fabric cover hidden in its seams. Pull it out, then place it around the rim of your glass: it forms a physical barrier over your drink. After use, fold it back into the scrunchie.
Stretch the cover, position it around the rim of the glass and adjust it so it stays firmly in place. Then drink through the teat or with a straw, without removing the cover.
Take the fabric cover out of its case, unfold it and place it around the rim of your glass. Once it's clean and completely dry, fold it up and store it back in the keychain case.
Wash them by hand or in the machine at 30 °C. Let them dry completely before folding the cover back into the scrunchie or its case.
The cover can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Rinse it and let it dry completely before putting it away.

No. A drink cover forms a physical barrier that limits access to your drink, but no protection on its own can guarantee zero risk. Keep your glass in sight and stay as vigilant as usual.
Chemical submission (drink spiking) means administering a substance to someone without their knowledge in order to commit a crime or offence (sexual assault, theft…). It isn't limited to GHB and doesn't only happen in nightclubs. To learn more, read our complete guide to drink spiking.
Get yourself to safety and stay with someone you trust. In an emergency in France, call 15 (SAMU ambulance service), 17 (police) or 112. See a doctor or go to A&E quickly: some substances are only detectable for a few hours. Find out the warning signs to look out for and the help and support available.
Keep your glass in sight, don't accept a drink you didn't see being made, stay in a group and agree on a meeting point. Covering your glass adds an extra barrier. All our tips: how to protect yourself from drink spiking on a night out.
Protect Your Glass was founded in 2022 in Rouen by Charly Boissée and Manon Hrebicek. Since then, more than 30,000 people have been equipped with our covers, with an average customer rating of 4.8/5. Discover our story.
In 2021, a friend of Manon's was the victim of an attempted drink spiking on a night out. That wake-up call led to several months of research and testing to come up with a simple, discreet and reusable solution. Our first product, the anti-spiking scrunchie, launched in June 2022. Our mission: to make nights out safer, through our products and through awareness.
